Breeds and Service Type
SA Yorkie Rescue provides adoption and responsible rehoming support for Yorkshire Terriers, Biewer Terriers and suitable Yorkie crosses and Yorkie-type small dogs where SAYR determines it can assist. (No implication that all are automatically accepted).
Operating Model
Depending on the dog and circumstances, the process may involve direct home-to-home rehoming, foster support or another case-specific arrangement.
Geographic Wording
SA Yorkie Rescue assists across South Africa, subject to the circumstances of the individual case, volunteer availability and the rescue's current capacity.
Exclusions & Limitations: The profile does not claim that every dog: enters foster care, is sterilised before handover, is vaccinated or microchipped by SAYR, receives dental treatment, receives rehabilitation, or has transport provided. Veterinary status, sterilisation requirements, adoption conditions, collection responsibilities, and available records differ between dogs and are explained for the individual case.
